YouTube acknowledges Twitter’s might

youtube YouTube acknowledges Twitters might technologyYouTube has embraced Twitter and provided place of pride on its videos. Now along with MySpace and Facebook, Twitter functionality will also be available for shared posting. This is in a acknowledgement of how big Twitter has become. This is a pretty cool functionality and by using this, YouTube videos can now be shared with followers of a specific Twitter account.

Facebook had already acknowledged Twitter’s might and redesigned its news feed option to get real-time updates in to facebook’s accounts.  YouTube has finally put its seal of approval on Twitter’s powering presence and its user base.

When link on YouTube videos is clicked a pop-up opens and user is asked to log in using Twitter’s account. By checking the option, user can share the video with its followers. But wait, the problem here is that URL doesn’t get shortened by any option. This functionality has not yet been provided by YouTube. May be they have included this in their future plans.
