Upload a doc for Google to translate
Google had this option of converting WebPages or pasted text in to language of your choice. Though there are some gaffes but keeping the enormity of task in mind, Google has been doing the job fairly well. At least the word by word translation was being done, though some time found wanting in meaning.
Google over few weeks has added another functionality with the help of which you can even upload the document and Google will help you translate in language of your choice. Functionality seem to working well with .txt, .html and .doc documents. The response which I had got from translated texts of uploaded documents was decent enough for me to acknowledge this functionality.
Google has been fine-tuning and ever improving its offerings at quite steady pace. With Chrome OS on the anvil for netbooks, it may just be a matter of time when even PCs and Notebooks may boasts of Chrome OS and Microsoft’s position at the pinnacle of OS market may start dwindling.
