Universal Extractor, Probably The Best Files and Folders Extraction Program
There are many file extraction software available on the Internet. We have been using many of them to extract folders and files from compressed files.Universal Extractor probably tops the list amongst many file extractors available on the Internet. It has quite simple and superficial interface to work with. The program supports 50 file formats which includes RAR, EXE or even the dbx-file.
UniExtract is available for Windows 2000/XP and Vista. It however doesn’t supports Linux. But Windows being the most popular OS, UniExtract has readily available market and many of us have downloaded and used it.
When a file is passed to UniExtract, it scans the file through TrID. If format matches with the many of the available supported non executable formats then the process of extraction begins. If the file is executable then it calls PEiD to verify the signatures. If the signature indicates it is a supported file then process of extraction begins otherwise UniExtract makes use of 7-Zip and UnZip as default and tries for extraction.
