Screenr.com is a wonderful app which help one records the movies from desktops. Recordings can have the shoot of 5 minutes duration and it can be uploaded straight on to the YouTube. The application needs Java platform to work on. Once you start recording the first thing the app would do is to locate java, if the app does not find it then the user would be prompted for Java download from Sun Microsystems.  Here is a YouTube video illustrating Screenr.
