Windows Live Writer is a boon for bloggers. Those who have been using it for long, have found it quite useful. Windows Live Writer makes blogging enjoyable and full of fun. Within short span of time one can churn out really good quality blogs. With Windows Live Writer one can have very useful plugins. There are many in the list but here I will list down the top three which fascinates me every time, I use them. The list is not based on just my opinion but in fact it takes in to cognizance the views of many bloggers with whom I have interacted. But before you begin installing plugin, one must ensure following basic steps. This should even be done before one start writing the even the first blog.

Flickr4Writer

This is the most important plugin and rank on the top of the order. It is great for bloggers who would like to insert images from either their own accounts or from others account. The only thing which bloggers must be wary of here is the violation of copy rights. If you use Flickr for uploading and sharing your photos then this is a great plugin for you.

xPollinate

This plugin is for all of you Ping.fm lovers. xPollinate lets you cross post to other blogs linked in your Windows Live Writer and social sites like Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and more through the use of Ping.fm. You have the option to customize the setup of how your blog posts, micro-blog posts, and status messages will look.

Tag Generator

This is the plugin which is a must for beginners. After writing your post, on selecting the content, tags will be generated automatically. You can edit the selected tags based on your understanding and relevance to the subject.
