iPhone 3.0 activation servers jammed
Apple’s activation servers have been burdened with more than expected activation requests of iPhone 3.0 operating system from existing users. Apple had probably again underestimated its user base. Same scenario unfolded in July 2008 when iPhone 3.0 went on sale. Apple should have been smart enough to size the activation requests.
Twitter is abuzz with tweets from frustrated users who have been waiting and waiting for the situation to improve. Wednesday 17th June 2009 launch has generated lots of market buzz and the new operating system was touted as the fastest, most powerful iPhone yet.

Apple website and the lucky few who have been able to get their iPhone activated have commended the attractive features. Cut, copy and Paste & MMS options available free with iPhone 3.0 software update are really cool. In addition there are some other attractive features which have contributed to heightening the download and activation frenzy.
Such has been the onslaught of complaints that Apple has decided to put off iPhone 3.0 launch in Asia by one day.

But some of the tweets have been reflecting the feeling of resignation amongst the iPhone 3.0 subscribers and these guys have decided to concentrate on some other more satisfying pursuits.
