Housing Boom in Northern Capital Region.
Last six months has seen tremendous activity in NCR Noida region near Delhi. While the real estate launches in Gurgaon and Faridabad have been very few, Noida region has stolen march over their compatriots in Northern Capital Region during this period. Expressway and area on the either side of FNG has seen many launches by builders. Unitech’s Uni Homes, Prateek Fedora’s Laurel and Amrapali’s Zodiac are the recent launches which is seeing lots of hectic activity. Corporate salaried buyers have catapulted these launches to great high through their sustained buying.
Looking a few year back in around 2003-04, the launches in Noida had almost but dried out. Indirapuram in Ghaziabad just on the other side of National Highway was an attractive option for salaried employees working with IT and other Noida based companies. The trend continued till about 2007. During this period, Gurgaon also saw many launches. But the rates buoyed by great demand and less supply skyrocketted. But the year 2008 saw realism getting better of speculations. Intermediaries started feeling the pinch and specially Gurgaon saw steep correction in the prices.
Present launches in both Gurgaon and Noida are quite attractive and that’s why buyers are moving in droves to these affordable locations. Crossing Republic, an independent sub city conceived and being developed by consortium of developers has also seen re-awakening of interests amongst general public. It is expected that about 5000 nos of flats will be ready for occupancy by the year end in Crossing Republic alone.
There have been very good projections about growth in Northern Capital Region. Therefore buying a new flat in NCR would definitely make sense now.
