It has the features or both email as well as instant messaging depending upon whether the two users are offline or online. While emailing each other, we send emails with all related messages and previous conversations. These messages and data are then stored on each other’s Inbox. But in case of a Waves, the multimedia messages are stored on central server.

These waves can be shared and collaborators can be added or removed at any stage. At any stage Wave can be edited by any of its active collaborators. All replies and edits can be seen online step by step., character by character. All Waves can be linked to each other. Their past history is preserved and is stored in the Wave itself. So that at any time one can resort to playback option to see what changes have been made by each of their collaborators. Documents can be just dragged and dropped on to the screen for all collaborators to refine and edit.

There are some interesting videos on YouTube which describes Google Wave and some of its cool features.

many people who have registered long back are upset for Google has sent the invitations randomly and many of those who registered long back are not invited. I am one among them.

Yes. But I suppose Google apart from registration date has used other criteria as well to filter out the applicants for Google Wave.
