Google maps can help you get rid of many hassles
How many times you have turned to your rugged old map lying in some drawer looking for directions? Road maps were mandatory companions of all adventurists who were out on sight seeing trips not so along ago. In fact even for the business traveler who frequently travels by road, road maps were must. But not any more. Advent of Google maps has changed all that. Now one can get hooked on the Internet even while one is in remote corner or some God forbidden place. Google maps is quite user friendly and presents number of options which can be utilized to our advantage.
When seeking the directions on Google map, you will be presented with options like Place A to B and then which mode of transport you would like to use, Car, Public transport or Walking. Additionally, the application also provides option to add in between destination or change the route.
I have been regularly using it in Indian cities and I have found Google’s database is quite rich and relevant. It covers almost every locality in the country.
If it can cover every Indian locality worth its salt so exhaustively in its database, I think other countries might also have been mapped like this. Judicious use of Google maps would help you in warding off lots of traffic related hassles and would also enable you to save time and money.
