Download three new Betas from Microsoft
There are three exciting Betas which are available for download from Microsoft community today. Some of these have been there for few days. All three are exciting products and there have been millions of download.
- Windows 7 Beta: Goodies are there for short span of time only. And Windows 7 Beta as per announcement will now be available only up to 10th Feb 2009. If you have not yet downloaded a copy of Windows 7 Beta, you can download it here. Windows 7 Beta download
- Windows server 2008 R2 Beta: Improving upon Windows server platform available, Microsoft has announced launch of Windows server 2008 R2 for download. Improvements have been there in visualization, management, scalability, security and integration with Windows 7.
- Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Virtualization (V 1.0): It is an enterprise virtualization which makes it possible to run legacy applications on Vista desktops. Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Virtualization (Med-V) download. This is a great application for those who would like to run their legacy applications developed on old platform like Windows XP and Windows 2000. By delivering applications in a Virtual PC that runs a previous version of the OS (e.g., Windows XP or Windows 2000), administrators can remove the barriers to OS upgrades, and deal with testing and migration of incompatible applications after the OS upgrade.
