Operating systems are going to be passe soon. The coming times will see web browsers evolving and becoming  more and more feature rich. Windows operating systems who have been virtually ruling the OS market for close to two decades now, will eventually be phased out, opines Google CEO Eric Schmidt.

It was only few days ago when I learnt about free antivirus suite being launched by Microsoft. Frankly speaking I didn’t believe it I thought there must be something else to it. Microsoft already had a product Live OneCare which could not generate any interest amongst avid users.

MSDE 2000 is not being supported on Vista. In case you are planning to shift to Vista in near future then also plan for SQL Express 2005 or 2008.
