Operating systems are going to be passe soon. The coming times will see web browsers evolving and becoming  more and more feature rich. Windows operating systems who have been virtually ruling the OS market for close to two decades now, will eventually be phased out, opines Google CEO Eric Schmidt.

Google Chrome logo has looked very attractive right from the moment it was launched. A spiral mix of vibrant colours, Red, Green, Yellow and Blue looks quite appealing. Apple’s activation servers have been burdened with more than expected activation requests of iPhone 3.0 operating system from existing users. Apple had probably again underestimated its user base. Same scenario unfolded in July 2008 when iPhone 3.0 went on sale. Apple should have been smart enough to size the activation requests.

Google has come out with major new update of Chrome. Most of the features were already available in earlier Beta release. The stable release has just made it more authentic and reassuring. Stable releases always have a way of assuring the users that product has been fully tested and tried.
