Appleās activation servers have been burdened with more than expected activation requests of iPhone 3.0 operating system from existing users. Apple had probably again underestimated its user base. Same scenario unfolded in July 2008 when iPhone 3.0 went on sale. Apple should have been smart enough to size the activation requests.
