Yoga for computer professionals

Yoga has potential to cure many ailments of computer professionals. IT and IT enabled service professionals are primarily sitting in front of computers and spending 1/3 of their lives staring at the monitors. This is the prime most reason that work related stress and body ailments are registering rapid increase. IT professionals have become so dependent on computers that only time they lift their hands to write the reason predominantly is signing of cheques. The wrong posture is taking heavy toll on backs resulting in severe cramps and backaches. Time is not far off when young IT workers will be facing exhaustion and severe breakdowns.

Yoga is a concept which can be practiced by young and old alike to make their respective bodies strong, supple and flexible. Yoga has many asana which can be employed to good effect to cure body disorders. Some of the asana which can help the strained bodies are:

1. Bhujangaasna (Cobra pose): This Yoga asana is a boon for all computers professional. It relives any stresses in the back which might have arisen due to wrong postures. The asana also strengthens the back and control indigestion.

2. Sarvangasna (shoulder’s stand): This asana is must for all the aggrieved workers who want to make their spine resilient. The asana also strengthens hair follicles thereby arresting the hair fall.

3. Patahastasana (Foot Hand pose): This Yogasana makes the chest and upper body and lower body strong and resilient. This asana also help in reducing the fat near the belly.

4. Trikonasana (Triangular pose): This yoga asana helps is reducing fats around the sides and hips. This asana is also responsible for making back and ribs strong and flexible.

    it is easy to learn Yoga although it seems difficult at first try. I practice Yoga mainly for relaxation and for improving my blood circulation.
