When was the last time you wrote some text with your hand.

It seems ages. We have forgotten to write with our hands. We just scribble down some notes on our meeting pads or at times just SMS our thoughts to a colleague, friend or spouses. We have just about lost that feeling of achievement which is normally associated with writing. Today we generally lift our pen only to sign a bill or a cheque. We forgotten the joys and pleasures which are normally associated with handwriting.hand2 When was the last time you wrote some text with your hand. consulting

When we write, there is perfect coordination amongst muscles of our fingers, arms and nerves in our brain. This coordination not only keeps our mind awake but also helps in keeping our mind and body live and kicking. One school of thought strongly advocates that to keep your mind active, write at least one page a day. This helps in bringing coherency of thoughts, logical reasoning and kind of satisfaction which can not be described in words.

When was the last time you wrote some text with your hand. consultingHow you write, when you write is all immaterial. You may not be having perfect handwriting. What matters is curving in your first fingers and thumbs around the pen and let your mind flow on a sheet of paper. If you concentrate and guide your mind in a programmed way, its a surreal experience. It is said, handwriting depicts your persona. How the letters get formed and get slant away speaks volumes about your personality. Calligraphy has evolved over the years and experts have been able to gain tremendous insights in to the minds of writers. All said, the experience of writing with ones own hand is fulfilling and gives immense satisfaction. So my advice to all readers is to write at least half page a day and experience the benefits in form of calmness, clarity and peace it brings about.
