Visual Resume.

Prospective job-seekers have been using traditional resume to present themselves to their prospective employers. The methods have remained the same. Two page carefully drafted resume showcases the profile of job-seeker and brings forth strengths to the fore. Carefully drafted resume tries in its own way to fit-in the job-seeker in to the job profile.  Employers are still relying on traditional resumes to select and identify candidates who can fit in to the job and its role.But with computers coming in to every spheres, the traditional resume are not being supplemented with some sort of slide show visual resume in PowerPoint or in form of videos. One can find many YouTube resume on the Internet. Such a resume describes the candidate through speech and sound. But Slide Shows in PowerPoint should look more elegant and artistic. Preparing PowerPoint resume is not that difficult. But more important is its content. These resumes should keep the viewers engaged and should not be of chest thumping types.

These resumes should not have more than 6-10 slides. Slides should not be descriptive. Such resumes should only be adopted for entry level positions. Visual resume is not required for CEO and Top Management positions.
