Twitter: The Ultimate Micro Blogging Network
Twitter has become a rage. Every other guy who is in to computing is also twittering. When I first heard of this service, I took it up very casually. I thought so many startups, take birth everyday, so very few survive the ordeal and stay there to carve out their own niches. Never for a moment I thought, would Twitter attain the position, in which it finds itself today.
I asked few of my colleagues, not so young, most of then in mid thirties and early forties, the reason behind rise and rise of this micro blogging service. Like me they were also not sure. One of them told me it is the young generation who is driving up Twitter like mad. I casually asked isn’t it a good social media network which keep every group member informed about “What we are doing”. I was not satisfied with my answer.

I searched around on the Internet and found two groups of young individuals who were quite net savvy. I posed the same question about Twitter to my young friends. All of them were quite unanimous in their verdict. They said it is the perfect micro blogging service without much ado and frills. Network has become so big today that even Twitter co-founders Stone, Jack Dorsey and Evan Williams, would not have imagined in their early days. The reason behind its popularity lays in its “Simplicity”. The simple tweets inform the world about newsbreaks, events, interesting blogs or just “What are you doing”. This is just a classical example of a platform whose time has just arrived.
