Liven up Your Gmail with Themes



You are a heavy user of Gmail and Gmail happens to be your default email. Whenever you open up your Gmail web page you get the look every time. You would have wished to personalize your Gmail look so that it speaks about your persona, likes. There is an feature in Gmail which can be used to personalize your Gmail look. So the next time you open your Gmail you would have a very personalized feel and look of your Inbox and other sidebars.  You even have the option of customizing it by choosing your location.

There are some themes which keep changing during the day, and Google utilizes location information which you set during selection of Gmail Themes to time these changes with your location specific sunrise, sunset, and/or cloudy, rainy weather etc.

When you select one of these themes, you’ll see a Country/Region drop-down menu appear. Select the country you want, and then enter a city in the field provided.  If you enter some city wrongly then by default the choice would be made of capital city of your selected country.

Gmail theme feature is not available on Internet Explorer 6. Gmail Themes feature is only available on Internet Explorer 7.0+, Firefox 2.0+ or Safari 3.0+, and Google Chrome. I am using Gmail Themes and it’s raining outside in Delhi, India. You can see the Gmail theme feature is showing some nice umbrellas. Gmail Themes can be activated from Mail Settings options in Gmail.
