Search remains the fastest growing sector in web space. The coming years will see many search engines trying to rival Google. Apart from Yahoo, Microsoft Live there are new entrants like Quintera and Cuil who are trying to peck a little on to the search advertising basket.
Microsoft Live has its task cut out for the year. The company will be eyeing for double digit market share in 2009. The importance Microsoft gives to the Search domain is evident from the fact that company will be having job cuts in almost all discipline barring the Search segment.
