Google announced that it is adding two new improvements in to Google Search are:
- Understanding association and concepts related to search queries: With the help of new technology which Google has not come out with, Google will be now able to understand the association and concepts depending upon what has been keyed in to the search box. This would definitely make the searching experience all the more lively. In addition, Google searches will display the related searches either at the bottom or at the top which would again help the user broaden his or her ambit.
- Longer snippets: Snippet is few lines of text which are provided just after the search results. Snippets suggest what the search results contain. When longer search query is keyed in, few lines of text in snippets of search results page was never sufficient. The second improvement is all about that. With longer search queries, now you will be able to find longer snippets giving you much more information about the search results.
Google’s efforts in maintaining secrecy and confidentiality over its algorithm has helped the user-base by making their experience all the more enjoying and relevant. Continuous refinements and improvements are always welcome for a search engine. It is this precise reason which blocks SEO player’s efforts to clutter the displayed results against the search queries.
