Google Pack is a collection of third party and Google made applications like Google desktop, Picassa, Google Earth and Adobe Reader. Firefox still remains in the list but it is not selected by default. Google’s Chrome makes an entry in to the list in the English version. Mozilla’s most of the revenues comes from its association with Google. So even though Google has relegated Firefox to second place after Chrome in the Google Pack but Mozilla would like to continue its association and relationship with Google.

Firefox browser still has Google as default search option and it is through this association that Firefox generates more than 80% of its revenue. But competition may hot up as Chrome would like to increase its market share and dethrone Firefox from second position. Now that Google has shed its Beta tag and added certain new features like  form auto completion, auto scrolling and page zooming which are already present in IE and Firefox, Google’s Chrome would like to go beyond its browser usage share which has just touched 1.0% in December 2008. With Google’s reach and their dominating presence on world IT horizon, Google might have been secretly making some strategic plans to take IE head on.
