Discipline Your Online Hours.
Are your online hours best utilized? How many hours do you surf aimlessly? Present day generation is grappling with a common ailment now which relates to information overdose. Most of the time we are online, spending hours and hours in front of laptops, smart phones and of course hardtops. How much of our online hours are optimally utilized. If we all introspect, I am sure everybody will have the answers to the questions posed above. We have offline lives as well. But the way we are moving along, we are neglecting our offline lives which have gone off-color. Too much of information load with no structured pattern just flows by us. We just remember a few of the things which we have been exposed to or have read.
Today there are even software apps which even digs your internet past and exactly tells you where in the past you have read an article concerning some keywords. You are required to punch in some key words and app throws in your internet past. But that’s all. I don’t think everybody needs that much of information. Too much of information from varied sources results in lack of concentration for our young minds.
Disciplining online hours are of utmost importance for the young minds who are in to studies. It is probably the young generation which spends most of their active time just idling away in front of screen, mouse and a (Key)board. Better alternative would be to have aggregation of RSS feeds or nicely bookmarked web sources which are of ultimate importance. And that’s all. One review their bookmark list but that’s it.
This would surely help in disciplining our online lives.
